Devotional Thought:

Car detailing has come a long way. I remember being amazed the first time I watched a professional remove years-old stains from a car seat: coffee spills, ink marks, even gum that had hardened into the fabric. What looked permanent suddenly vanished with the right treatment. It was almost like watching a miracle happen in slow motion.

And it made me think: if that kind of deep clean is possible for a car interior, what about our hearts? What about the stains we carry that feel permanent, like the guilt that hangs around long after we've said "I'm sorry," or the shame we've hidden so long it feels like part of who we are?

Some sins aren't surface-level. They don't lift with a quick prayer or a Sunday service. They sit deep, embedded in our choices, our memories, even our identity. But Isaiah 1:18 gives us this breathtaking promise: "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow." God doesn't just lighten the stain. He removes it completely.

He's not intimidated by how long it's been there or how deep it runs. But here's the catch: we have to bring it to Him. We have to stop pretending the fabric isn't damaged and start trusting that His grace can reach what we've buried.

God doesn't want a polished version of you. He wants the whole thing. The truth. The mess. The parts you've kept from others and maybe even from yourself. He already sees it, but healing begins when we invite Him in.

If you've been trying to scrub out the stains yourself, let today be the day you stop striving and start surrendering. There is no sin too stubborn, no stain too deep, that the blood of Jesus cannot cleanse.

Prayer:
Lord, I bring You the stains I've tried to hide and the sin I've carried too long. Thank You for the blood of Jesus that doesn't just cover, but completely cleanses. I receive Your mercy and ask for a deep clean, from the inside out. Make me new, Lord. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
